General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
We need to inform you of what data we collect and how the data is stored and handled. This is to ensure that we are compliant with the new regulations that come in to force on 25th May 2018.
In order to provide our services we currently hold your following information:
- Company names and addresses
- Individual employee names and titles
- Contact phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Bank details where applicable to accounting purposes
The data we have is gathered from incoming enquiries and orders received verbally, by email or by fax.
The data is stored onto our systems and backed up onto secure servers.
Your information will only be used for processing quotations or orders and occasionally for sending you a newsletter. We will not transmit your information to other parties unless it is required to fulfil your request for a quotation, to complete an order or we are legally obliged to do so.
We will never sell your information to 3rd parties.
On completion of any quotations and orders we will hold the physical and digital files on record. These files are held in file rooms on site and in secure servers.
During processing orders we may be required to send data to 3rd parties, these include but are not limited to Courier/transport services and Business control software providers. Any information passed on to these parties will be conducted within the GDPR guidelines and will only be relevant to the requirements of providing our services.
